Enero:

- We are in the new century and far from be died, here we are disposed to conquer many years more in company of our loved MSX.

- We start the active promotion of the MSX fair in Madrid: MadriSX´2001, this year it will be sponsorized by Spanish Computing Museum, thanks to this it will be celebrated in a new location, inside of the Husa Chamartín hotel, located in the famous train station.

- I went to Valladolid because I had to repair a printer, I visited to Daniel Zorita (Canor)

- We received the support of Moai Tech for making dozens of letters with MadriSX info.

Febrero:

- Our web gets the nice number of 10.000 visitors, as a detail we decided to offer a special gift for the 10.000 visitor, and he was from Netherlands (Manuel Bilderbeek). In those moments our web got the daily visitors record, getting 103 hits in one day.

- There are serious problems with the Spanish Computing Museum cause they decide not to sponsor MadriSX, so we have a big trouble and an embarrasement situation only two weeks before MadriSX, we have to solve this situation inmediatly.

- Rafael Corrales rent a room in the same hotel (Husa Chamartín) with a special price, 60.000 pts instead of 77.000 of the official price, we asume a sure money deficit.

- In aamsx.org web Javi Lavandeira publish an official information of the Spanish Computing Museum and our problems grew up because we had our trouble in a complete secret.

- Everything are not problems, fortunately Matra offers us 20.000 pts as a sponsor of MadriSX, thanks to this we can offer better admission prices.

- We sold out all the MSX-2 avaliables in Italy thanks to a particular user, after this stock our club has sold almost 200 Philips NMS 8245. Enjoy them...

Marzo:

- If the last problems were not enough, Leonardo Padial as visible of a new "asociation for Madrid MSX users" announce the celebration of a MSX meeting for users and developers one week before MadriSX. So the crisis of our club is getting bigger and bigger.

- VIII MadriSX edition is celebrated, only 58 visitors came, and the worst and sad is that only 14 users of this club came, it is impressive because 14 users came from Catalonia. The standholders are AAM, Club Mesxes, VAJ Club, Museo8bits, Vengador (these two are computer collectors), Moai Tech and MSX Power Replay, the new products are a new version of MSX Covers by Angel Carmona, Moai sold a new magazine number, Nestor Soriano sold the Command 2.41 for DOS2 and Matra represented by Debugger sold the new calígula called Don´t Cock It Up, it was a special edition for MadriSX. Hnostar gave us IDE cartridges of the last generation.

We missed to Majara Soft, 2ndF, LP Electronics and many MSX users of Madrid :-(

Abril:

- After one month of meditation and after a lot of problems suffered in our club, we have decided to stop the next activities:

• MSX products distribution and importation.
• User support and helpdesk.
• Madrid MSX mailing list.
• We will not visit more fairs as an standholder.
• We will try to continue organizing MadriSX. the club DO NOT dissapear, it will continue as a MSX friends group.

- We received the visit of one friend of Diego Simunvich, an user from Argentina.

Mayo:

- MSX Power Replay went for first time to the local meeting of Badalona trough its member Rafa Corrales, he sold some MSX products for finishing our stock. There were up to twenty users and Rafa was some days with the friends Manuel Dopic of Moai Tech, Raul of Traposoft and Debugger.

Junio:

- Our loved MSX is 18 years old, so it is adult. Our club celebrated it with a dinner in a chinese restauran. ;-)

Julio:

- Our club appeared in the Euskal represented by Rafael Corrales, he went with VAJ Club (Verónica y Andoni), and some users like AlucardX, Debugger, etc...the party is spectacular and you can find a complete report with photos in Variety section.

- The problems with Rafael Morales (MEI) are growing, he has a debit with us of 20.000 pts and he does not return our money to us.

- We received the visit of Saver, he came to Madrid to enjoy his holidays and also share his time with his girlfriend Chiho.

Agosto:

- In this month the club sent the las packets with MSX products just imported from Italy (CMMJ club), we received a Moonsound.

Septiembre:

- In the MSX developer meeting organized by Padial, some projects were discussed, like the development of megarom cartridges, the idea start to change and finally LP Electronics design a ROM programmable cartridge with the use of a flashrom.

Octubre:

- The game programation of a game planned during our travel to the "Barcelona MSX Room" is growing in the brains of Sapphire and Ivi Soft, we can show the name: Chernoballs.

Noviembre:

- We start to plan MadriSX ´ 2002 , dated for 9th of March in the cultural centre Fernando de los Rios, we studied another locations like a city hall sports room, but we discarded it.

Diciembre:

- We traveled to the XX edition of the MSX meeting of Barcelona, in this event we returned to the typical room of "Cotxeres de Sants", it was not too funny, but some nice news were presented like Bubble Rain game.

We went as standholder, but finally we had not MSX stuff to show, so we sold some MSX stock in the second hand stand and we helped to Desgalitxat MSX.

- Padial finished the flashram cartridge with a programmable flash, you can save all the MSX ROMs and it has a JAM software for programming it, you can emulate all the mappers with some jumpers, the price is 60 €.

- We celebrated the new years eve in Sapphire´s house :)
